Kalu Rinpoche

Niguma was an Indian female siddha (enlightened Tantric yogini) who lived in the 11th Century C.E. She was the sister of Naropa. After reaching the 10th bhumi (level of realization) and attaining the rainbow body, she was able to receive teachings directly from the primordial buddha Vajradhara. From her consummate realization, she transmitted the Mahamudra teachings and practices in a unique, highly accessible style. She and another female siddha, Sukhasiddhi, were teachers to Khedrup Kyungpo Naljor, the founder of the Shangpa Kagyu lineage. Kalu Rinpoche, the head of the Shangpa Kagyu tradition, presents an introduction to this special Mahamudra teaching of Niguma. Proceeds will go directly to Kalu Rinpoche.
